The Marine Drive

 My heart started to swell up in happiness with every step I took towards "The Marine drive".

Cold breeze brushing with my skin, that tangling sensation all over the body, listening to 'I like you so much you'll know it' I had a soft smile..

This place always reminds me of you...

It reminds me of all the good memories we shared... 

You approaching me with a sweet smile on your face, one hand was holding mobile and other hand was holding your bag... 

The close proximity between us, and your hands holding mine like it was just meant for me to hold...

It was afternoon and I remember how beautiful your eyes were shining... Those brown eyes have always been an addiction to me!!! How easily it makes me lose my sanity...

You had a smile on your face, which was enough proof that you are happy, you are happy being with me like this... 

I was teasing you constantly... And you being the man of patience... Let me do everything I want... 

That moment was beautiful and perfect in its own way.

And then the time arrive, when you had to leave...

I wish... I wish I had held your hands and not let you go.

I wish I had asked you to stay for more time...

That moment was precious... So beautiful that sometimes words feel less to describe it... 

Uhmm... I came back to reality when the song ended and the advertisement started to play!!

I released a heavy breath and hugged myself a little tighter than every time...

I smiled unknowingly and stared at the beautiful sunset, living through that moment all alone.
